Release and Update Notes

• 2008-06-11 12:16:30 Passwords are now stored in the database using MD5 encryption.
• 2008-05-27 10:53:19 The commenting system has become a little more sophisticated. Comments from content authors can now be highlighted (if desired) using two new CSS classes. Also, comments now have permalinks. Give it a try... Leave a comment today!
• 2008-04-02 15:45:00 Plug-ins must be kept in the site's home directory because otherwise the browser can't reach the CSS!
• 2007-06-27 16:41:08 I've made so many changes recently and I have done a horrible job of documenting them. As an example, I've knocked down database queries quite significantly for certain parts of the system by caching the results of certain database queries. Then, instead of a database query, I can just get the prior result. Anyway, it doesn't really matter that I haven't recorded all these changes since I haven't even released the code, yet. It will only be important to track changes after the release, right? :)
• 2007-06-19 14:44:49 BBThemer and BBCache are now on the scene, providing easy management of styles (Cascading Style Sheets) and caching, respectively.
• 2007-06-01 14:47:03 Installed the Euphoria 3.1 beta interpreter. Working fine so far! :)

• 2007-04-13 00:00:00 Another switch! All BBCMF Javascript is performed by YUI+ExtJS. However, developers can easily create plugins to use jQuery, DED|Chain, base2, etc.
• 2007-03-28 00:00:00 I've always wanted to use YUI, but jQuery's interface/API made it so attractive. Now, with DED|Chain, I can have the best of both worlds! So, anyway, for the base Javascript/Ajax library for BBCMF, jQuery is out and DED|Chain is in, for now. I'm still looking hard at ExtJS (Jack Slocum), which also enhances YUI.
• 2007-03-14 00:00:00 Thanks to the new Euphoria interpreter that uses my code for relative include file addressing, the base program directory is much cleaner! Plugin and module management should be much easier now.
• 2007-03-12 00:00:00 Links in the body of the page can be ajaxified by using an ID that includes the text "_menu_".
• 2007-03-06 00:00:00 BBCMF is now Ajaxified with jQuery and Taconite. The menus on the left use an async request when Javascript is available.
